CHINESE % IS DROPPING

The number of Chinese, in term of the population percentage is dropping.

It is forcasted that in 2020, the Chinese forms about 21% of the population and the Malay is 51.5%.
In 2040, the percentage of Chinese is only 18.4 % and the Malay is 54.1%.

This figure is based on the growth rate of 1.4% for the Chinese and higher for the Malay.
