Lahat Datu Sabah - Invaders from Philippine

The head line on March 6 2013 carried the news about the actions against the invaders. How long they had been in the countries or whether was connected to the hot issues a couple of months earlier, the Project IC was everyones' guess.

4 Mar 2013 - Evacuation of the civilian

5 Mar 2013 - 7 am Bombing of Kampung Tanduo

5 Mar 2013 - 8 am Ground Assault.

After 23 days if stand off, the airstrike followed by heavy bombardment, would dislodge the Sulus. When the bombardment stopped, the elite force move-in. By morning, half of the village was secured.

According to a report, the number of invaders were about 100 to 200.

The history that led to invasion goes back a few hundred years, when Sabah was under the Sultanate of Sulus. They were not colonised by the Spanish like those in Luzon, and Sabah was leased to the British for a meagre sum of RM5000 per month.

It would be odd for Philippine to support that claim by the invaders as it amount to accepting their right, not only to Sabah, but to the Southern part of Philippine like Mendanao and Pahlawan.
