We are Getting Worst

I read with interest, a letter written by an expatriate about the quality of service in Immigration Department in Putra Jaya. When he went 4 years ago, he was impressed by the quality of service and he naturally expected a better service now, after 4 years.

To his surprise, the service is worst than 4 years ago. Among his complaints were:
- There was absent of signage.
- People cutting queue, and there was not control.
- The customer service by the officer was poor, use the sign language to show direction.
- The processing of the customers were unstructure.

When I read this it reminded me of ...
1. the case in Sabah... The IC for immigrants. It is still an open issue. It did appear that only selected people in the immigration know about it.

2. The other is the ease of changing the IC before the election. I know a person who is able to change the IC within one day.

So it is near election now, and there is relationship to the issues.
