This is a posting from a Sigapore based newspaper , The Strait Times, on an interview with Azmin Ali. According to Azmin, the plan to create a coalition Perikatan Nasional was made by Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad. The old man is still wanted to be in power, he want to the prime minister supported by all Members of Parliament across all parties, said Senior Minister Azmin Ali.
He also said the general election would have been held last month if not for the third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic currently faced by the country.
The interview with the Star, a Malaysia Englih daily,where Azmin shared details of what happened behind the scenes which led to the collapse of the Pakatan Harapan government and why he left Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) president Anwar Ibrahim's side after 30 years.
