It does seem odd, as I hardly belief my eyes on the report published in the paper. The Royal Commission had revealed the open secret that there were malpractices in Sabah.
The sources from wikipedia quoted as " The population of Sabah is 3,117,405 as of the last census 2010 showed more than 400 percent increase from the census 1970 (from 651,304 in 1970 to 3,117,405 in 2010).[31] and is the third most populous state in Malaysia after Selangor and Johor. Sabah has one of the highest population growth rates in the country as a result of illegal immigrants (and oftentimes state-sponsored)"
What is odd, the group that did the wrong, has the cheek to say that it will be beneficial for them, as it proves that they want to improve the situation.
If they really want to improve it and correct the situation, they do not have to wait for RCI to act, they can start it straight away.
Now many fear that the cases in Sabah is not an isolated case, it was rather a learning opportunity, so that they can do the same in other part of Malaysia.
